In Dulci Jubilo!

This Christmas collection follows a previous release of seasonal music that included John
Rutter’s Magnificat and Roderick Elms’ two sets of carols for SATB choir and orchestra.
The
focus of this present album is the first complete recording of these six carols in versions for
high voices with original accompaniment for organ (or piano) with solo flute.

The Wykeham Singers and Wykeham Sinfonia first performed John Rutter’s version of the Magnificat for chamber orchestra,
choir and soprano soloist in 1994 with Julia Wilson-James.
A repeat performance of this work in 1999 led to its inclusion in this album
along with the first complete recording of the six carol arrangements by Roderick Elms.
